Elvira is a real bus veteran. Ever since primary school, she has been commuting. Travelling by bus has given her a moment to socialise or relax in everyday life.
The bus from Röbäck to Vasaplan takes just over 20 minutes. Rickard Nordlund uses that time to study French, among other things.
31-year-old Lycksele girl Lisa Bergman now lives in Umeå where she likes to take the bus to her Thai boxing training. But above all, the focus is on her studies – Lisa will soon graduate as a social worker.
Stefan Boström has been travelling by bus in Umeå all his life. Both practically and financially, he says, and feels a little sorry for everyone who has to scrape their car windows every morning.
He is a Helsingborg resident who moved almost 1200 km north, to Umeå. There, Linus Johansson takes the bus almost every day – when he's not hiking or skiing in the mountains.
Fred Stövset has not lived in Umeå for long, but has already discovered the benefits of the city. As a particularly spontaneous bus rider, he likes to have the bus stop around the corner.
Peter Arkhult is a well-known face in Umeå. A 42-year-old entrepreneur who, among other things, bosses over Brännbollsyran. In addition, he loves to ride the bus.
