Travelling with animals
We welcome animals as fellow travellers and have special conditions and rules to make it work as well as possible for all travellers.
- Pets such as dogs and cats travel free of charge when accompanied by a paying traveler.
- You are allowed to bring a maximum of 2 animals per traveler. All animals must be kept on a
- leash or kept in a designated bag/cage and travel on the floor.
Smaller animals may be held on laps but may not be seated. - Passengers with animals must board through the middle door, where available. Exceptions for guide dogs that are usually trained to enter through the front door.
- The animal may only be in the rear or upper part of the vehicle to make it easier for people who are allergic. Everyone is allowed to travel by public transport, so it can never be completely allergy-proof.
- Guide dogs and hearing dogs travel with the passenger at any location in the vehicle.
- Anyone travelling with an animal is responsible for their safety, and risks being turned away or denied boarding if the animal is deemed to be a nuisance to another passenger or staff.
