School trips for elementary school students
Valid for travel to and from school for elementary school students. The card is valid for two one-way journeys per school day within the pupil's municipality of residence. Change to another line must be made within two hours of the start of the journey. The card is personal. The school card is not valid on public holidays or during summer, Christmas, sports, autumn and Easter holidays. The card must be presented to the ticket machine on each journey.
When travelling with a school card, the student is not allowed to bring a companion with him/her.
School trips for high school students
Valid for travel to and from school for high school students. The card is valid for two one-way journeys per school day within the county and also includes journeys with Norrtåg and, in some cases, transition to urban traffic. Change to another line must be made within two hours of the start of the journey. The card is personal and students travelling on a school card must be able to present a photo ID. The School Card Senior does not apply to public holidays or during summer, Christmas, sports, autumn and Easter holidays. The card must be presented to the ticket machine for each journey.
When travelling with a school card, the student is not allowed to bring a fellow traveller.
Senior discount
Seniors who are 65 years of age or older travel in the county with youth discounts on single, discount and period cards.
Persons entitled to special transport services in Umeå municipality
With a valid special transport service card, these people are entitled to free travel on all intra-municipal routes in Umeå municipality. This also applies to an escort who is entitled to special transport services.
2 children under the age of 7 travel free of charge upon presentation of a valid special transport service card.
Resplus Resplus
is a collaboration between most train and bus operators in Sweden and means that the entire journey can be carried out with one ticket. Resplus tickets can be purchased at the bus stations in Umeå, Lycksele, via travel agencies or on SJ's website.
Norrlandsresan
Norrlandsresan is a ticket collaboration between the public transport companies in the four northernmost counties. Norrlandsresan is available as a single ticket and period card. The ticket entitles travel within the four northernmost counties on the same ticket within the same calendar day. Norrlandsresan thus allows for the closest departing trip to transfer between different transport companies on the way to a specific destination. Norrlandsresan's period card is also valid at Norrtåg, for example. on the journey between Örnsköldsvik - Umeå. The ticket is sold on the bus with travel funds or credit cards as a means of payment or at one of Länstrafiken's sales agents.
