How to get traffic information from us
You can easily find traffic information yourself. Get it in real time or as a published message.
When you are planning your trip or waiting at the stop, you can see in our journey planner that the bus is on time. You can also see if there is special information related to the departure. The Journey Planner is available in our app and on the website.
In the Tabussen.nu app
In our app, you can get traffic information via the Journey Planner or via the More and Traffic Information tabs.
Journey Planner
In our journey planner in the app, you can see in real time that the bus is on time. You can also see if there is traffic information linked to your departure. Click on the departure to read the traffic information.
When you click on a departure, you will receive a description of the deviation. All this information is displayed in real time, so the forecasts can be changed along the way.
Traffic information tab in the app
Under the More tab, you will find Traffic information. There you can see all published traffic disruptions collected for regional traffic in Västerbotten. A traffic disruption is a temporary restriction or change that will return to regular traffic. These traffic disruptions are published by our Customer Service as soon as we receive the information. At the moment we only publish traffic information in Swedish.
Bus positions via the Plan & buy tab
1. Search for your trip in the travel planner. Remember that to search via My Location or Select a stop or pin location on map, you must have allowed location information in the app.
2. Click on the departure you are travelling on. Remember that in order for you to be able to see that particular bus on the map in real time, it needs to be on the route at that time.
3. Now you can see in the image below the departure you have chosen and you can also see the bus in the small map view moving towards your stop where you are going to get on.
4. In the map view, you can see the stop you are going from, the one you are going to, and if the bus is traveling on the route at that time, you can also see where the bus is geographically. You can zoom in and out of the map as well.
Bus on map via Stops in the app
1. Click on the Stops tab. Search for a stop. Select a stop from the list.
2. In this view, you can see all the bus lines that go past the stop you have chosen. In the map view, you can see buses moving in real time, provided that there are buses there at the time. If you click on a line in the list, you will see the line's times at your stop. You can also click in the map here to get a larger map view.

On the website, you can get traffic information directly from the start page traffic information or through the Journey Planner.
Journey Planner
In the online journey planner, you can also see traffic information when you click on the departure. The journey planner displays the information in real time.
Homepage tabussen.nu
On the homepage, you can see published traffic disruptions and timetable changes. A traffic disruption is a temporary restriction or change that will return to regular traffic. A timetable change is a change in traffic that is updated in the journey planner and timetable. At the moment we only publish traffic information in Swedish.
Traffic information on the bus
Our buses have digital information signs. There you will find stop information such as destination, next stop and arrival times. On these information signs, we can also post other up-to-date traffic information. The buses also have audio announcements.
Traffic information at the stop
Länstrafiken has a lot of stops in Västerbotten. On many of them, we have digital stop signs where you can see which line and bus are coming and an estimated time of arrival.
